My background includes emergency services, firefighting, and paramedicine. Today, small-business work, education, and technology projects are also part of my life. I'm still thinking through what connects those experiences and how to describe that path honestly.

Working with incomplete information

One connection I see is the need to work with the information available while recognizing what is missing. An explanation can be reasonable and still incomplete. The next useful step may be to check a detail, ask a question, or reconsider a plan when circumstances change.

Running a business creates its own version of that challenge. There are customer expectations, practical constraints, and decisions that need follow-through. A plan has to survive contact with the work itself. I can't judge it only by how organized it looks on paper.

A new way to explore practical questions

Technology gives me another way to explore these questions. When I work on software, I am interested in whether it helps someone keep track of what matters and make a better-informed decision. A feature has value when its behavior fits the situation in which a person will use it.

These are connections I want to examine, rather than a claim that experience in one field automatically establishes expertise in another. Each area has its own knowledge, standards, and limits. I have more to learn, and this website gives me a place to document that learning.

A story still unfolding

Over time, I want to add the specific experiences that explain this path. They deserve accurate dates and context. For now, the thread is a practical one: understand the situation, act with care, and pay attention to what the result teaches me.
